Slippage tolerance

Slippage tolerance is the setting on a decentralized exchange for how much worse than the quoted price your swap may fill before it is cancelled.

A 1% tolerance on a swap quoted at 752 tokens accepts as few as 745. Too tight and the swap fails when the price moves; too wide and you invite a sandwich attack, because the tolerance is exactly what a bot can take from you.
