Long seller
A long seller is a trader who sells to close a long position: taking profit, cutting a loss, or being stopped out.
Long sellers push price down, together with short sellers. Many sell by choice, but a long whose stop is hit is obliged to sell, whatever they think of the market. Trapped buyers below a level become long sellers when price returns to their zero point.
