Contaminated zone
A contaminated zone is an area beyond a level where price already fought before, crossing back and forth. The fight tends to repeat, so a bounce from the level becomes more probable.
It is the opposite of a clean zone, where price passed quickly and left no orders behind. A level that is itself crossed again and again is a sawed-through level.
