Sawed-through level

A sawed-through level is a level that price has crossed again and again, opening and closing on both sides of it, so it no longer stops price.

Even the strongest level can be sawed through. Bitcoin’s 101,516.50, where the big candle of 10 October 2025 stopped, was crossed on 8 days between 4 and 13 November 2025, with closes on both sides; then price fell 21% to 80,600. A sawed-through level cannot be used as it is: it needs a fresh confirmation, best an exact touch or at least a false breakout.
