UTC
UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) is the world's reference clock. Exchanges such as Binance and Bybit start and end their daily candles at 00:00 UTC.
UTC does not change for summer time, so local times move against it during the year. The New York Stock Exchange opens at 9:30 New York time, which is 13:30 UTC in summer and 14:30 UTC in winter. A chart set to a local time zone may cut the day at a different hour and draw daily candles with different highs and lows from the exchange’s own.
