Trend
A trend is the direction price has been moving in over a period: up when highs and lows keep rising, down when they keep falling.
A trend changes when a big move stops at a price and is thrown back. Ethereum fell 26% in 5 days to 1,503.60 in June 2026; the fall stopped there, and by 15 July price was 29% higher. The price where a trend changes becomes a level.
